Lozada Park Fire Safety Fair with Hartford Fire Department. Center Photo is Mario Oquendo, HAIW Fire Fighter of the Year. On the right is the HAIW booth. The play equipment in the background was recently renovated and the park was cleaned by members of the Hartford Fire Department.

HAIW Industry Night
WELCOME!

Lt. J. Paul Vance, guest speaker, HAIW Industry Night, 2011. Lt. Vance was an enthusiastic speaker, sharing both good information and a good laugh with HAIW and guests. He and Fire Chief Casares have shared a stage before!
Chief Casares, Hartford Fire Department, presented the 2011 Fire Fighter of the Year Award to Mario Oquendo. The Hartford Fire Department was well-represented and they took many photos of Mario.
HAIW 2011 Insurance Professional of the Year Sandi Tilley and Rookie of the Year Annette Vinci. Claims Professional of the Year Kim Latka left before the formal "photo opp."
Past Activities:
In October, 2010, HAIW celebrated the anniversary of its founding. Many of the Past Presidents who attended spoke about their terms in office and what they have learned from HAIW.
